As an Automotive Technician at Leading Edge Automotive, you will utilize your expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles. From routine oil changes to complex engine repairs, your attention to detail and problem‑solving skills will be essential in ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our customers’ vehicles.
Work Hours:
This is a full‑time position with regular hours, Monday through Friday, the hours are 8.00am - 5.00pm, but this is negotiable.

- Perform diagnostics and repairs on various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and fluid checks.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify and resolve vehicle issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and meet customer expectations.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Has 5 years or more experience.
- Has experience with European vehicles.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
- Knowledge of automotive systems and their components.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Valid NZ driver’s licence and a clean driving record.
