We’re looking for a switched‑on, self‑driven Administrator to join our admin function based in our Ashburton branch. You’ll work closely alongside our Administration Manager to assist with a range of banking, warranty and general administration tasks, supporting all of our branches spread throughout the South Island.
About the RoleThis is a busy role providing crucial support to our teams throughout the business. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term position covering a period of parental leave, which will see you working 30 hours per week Monday – Friday, 8.30 am – 3.30 pm.
This opportunity will see you:
- Undertaking banking duties, such as daily bank statement reconciliation and account payment processing.
- Being the first port of call for customer enquiries, both over the phone and via email.
- Warranty admin, including claim submissions and credit entry.
- Providing creditor support.
- Acting as the Health & Safety Representative and area Fire Warden, attending H&S Committee meetings and being a point of contact for any H&S‑related matters in your area.
- General support duties, such as supply ordering.
Ideally you’ll bring:
- Competency working in the Microsoft Office Suite of programs, with familiarity utilising a range of systems day to day.
- A proactive approach to be accountable for completing a range of tasks requiring regular prioritisation.
- Experience in a similar role is highly advantageous, however training will be provided.
- A mindset that embraces collaboration, knowledge sharing and a willingness to get stuck in and help out where needed.
- Experience in juggling day‑to‑day work and adapting to new priorities as they arise.
