Senior Management Accountant

Following a period of strong growth within this fast-paced, PE-backed business, an opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Management Accountant to join a high-performing finance team based just outside Cannock.

This role will play a key part in supporting the next phase of expansion, taking ownership of the financial performance of several highly profitable entities. Working closely with the Senior Finance Manager and Group Finance Director, you will provide robust analysis, insight, and challenge to support strategic decision-making and value creation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and ownership of monthly management accounts across multiple evolving entities.
• Detailed variance analysis with clear, commercial commentary against budget and forecast.
• Balance sheet ownership, including reconciliations, controls, and continuous improvement.
• Partnering with senior stakeholders on ad-hoc analysis and strategic projects.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, enhance controls, and drive efficiencies across the finance function.

Key Requirements:

• Finalist or qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong Excel and data analysis capability.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insight.
• Confident working under pressure with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
