Overview
Lunchtime Supervisor Required for West Hill Primary School and Hednesford Nursery School. Mon – Fri Term Time Only 7.5 hours per week. Grade 2 £ 12.65 per hour. Actual Salary £4,236.
Are you looking for a part-time position that will fit around your own family needs? The Governors of The Hednesford Hills Federation are offering the opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our nursery team at Hednesford Nursery School, Eskrett Street, Hednesford.
Responsibilities- Supervising children before, during and after the meal, including depositing leftover food from plates into receptacles provided.
- Supervise children bringing sandwiches and oversee that debris left by children with packed lunches is removed/cleaned.
- Summon help where necessary in case of injury or illness and provide basic first aid for minor injuries.
- Assist the children with their table manners and use of cutlery, and assist with the cutting of meat for smaller children.
- Ensure that the dining area equipment is hygienically maintained.
- Is friendly, approachable, patient and caring.
- Has the ability to interact positively with children and adults.
- Shows initiative and common sense; is reliable and trustworthy.
- Ongoing CPD for all staff and opportunities across the Federation.
- Motivated, happy children; good parental links; a supportive staff team; an enabling working environment.
