Responsibilities- Ensure that best endeavours are made to deliver the right equipment, true to specification requirements, at the right quality on the date that the customer requires.
- Responsible for Procurement of externally sourced plant and equipment, delivering best in class for quality and value.
- Ensure maximum utilisation of Murphy plant & equipment by monitoring and off hiring externally hired items when Murphy plant items become available.
- Liaise regularly with external supply chain, build and keep positive relationships and ensure best Quality, Performance and Delivery is achieved.
- Provide high quality customer service in all communications with internal and external clients.
- Maintain accurate paper and computer-based records.
- Produce correspondence, documents and presentations to specification using a variety of media.
- Maintain established paper and computer-based filing systems.
- Conduct financial duties, for example, processing invoices or tracking costs.
- Work in accordance with established processes and provide feedback on their effectiveness.
- Maintain a world-class standard of customer service ensuring that the customer is always at the forefront of the teams' actions.
- Mirror the Murphy Values of Safety, Leadership, Integrity and Respect in all behaviours.
- Actively promote and embed Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all your work and support and comply with all organisational initiatives, policies and procedures on EDI.
- Experience in a Hire Desk role would be desirable
- Experience using Syrinx is preferred
- Previous experience working in an office environment with some experience working in a customer facing role
- Extensive experience working through telephone communications with a clear and concise phone manner.
- Good IT skills, knowledge of Microsoft packages ie. Word, Excel, Power Point
- Previous experience in plant would be beneficial but not essential
- Previous experience managing and processing invoices would be beneficial
