Picture this: a customer schedules a weekend outage to overhaul an extrusion press. You roll in with a lead tech, methodically disassemble key assemblies, replace wear components, verify hydraulics and controls, and help bring the line back online—safely and on time. The following week, you’re in our shop from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM building and repairing equipment for the next project.
If you’re mechanically inclined, we’ll teach you the rest.
Support the reliability of aluminum extrusion presses and associated equipment through field service, preventive maintenance, and precision rebuilds—delivering quality that customers rely on.
Core responsibilities- Assist senior technicians in inspection, repair, and maintenance of extrusion presses.
- Execute mechanical teardown and reassembly to spec.
- Contribute to shop assembly, builds, and equipment repairs between field assignments.
- Mechanical aptitude with proficiency using hand tools.
- Ability to understand how components fit, align, and function in mechanical systems.
- Millwright or industrial maintenance background.
- Stick and MIG welding exposure.
- Experience with aluminum extrusion presses and maintenance.
On-the-job training paths include welding, hydraulics, PLCs, controls, electrical systems, and engineering fundamentals. Your curiosity sets the pace.
Travel and schedule- Shop:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. - Field:
Schedule varies by project; weekend work is common with customer production timelines. We build in flexibility so you can reset after intensive trips. - Travel:
Most trips run 4–5 days with company‑covered per diem and expenses, typically using company vehicles. Some bigger jobs span several weeks; we rotate staff to reduce time away from home.
- Starting rate: $18/hour; final pay based on experience.

- 120/208/240/480 V and high‑voltage systems.
