Carpenter, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

Boss Exteriors is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team in Canby, Oregon. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood, steel, and other materials. This is a full-time, individual contributor role within our company. We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package for this Technician/Skilled Labor/Contractor position.

Compensation & Benefits:
We offer a competitive hourly pay of $22 to $27 per hour, paid semi-monthly. In addition, we provide our employees with a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth and development within our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and oversee construction and remodeling projects from start to finish

• Lead and supervise a team of carpenters, providing direction and guidance as needed

• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings

• Ensure construction materials and equipment are utilized efficiently and effectively

• Adhere to project timelines and budget constraints

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations

• Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members to keep them informed of project progress

• Address and resolve any issues or problems that arise during the project

• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets company standards

• Train and mentor new carpenters as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Carpenter

• Extensive knowledge of construction materials, methods, tools and equipment

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings

• Proficiency with hand and power tools

• Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Willingness to work in various weather conditions

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Represent Boss Exterior's high standards in all work performed
