We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dedicated engineering team on a critical site in Canary Wharf. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer to work in a fast-paced, high-profile environment, carrying out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance to ensure the continued reliability and performance of essential systems. The building consists of amenities such as a fitness centre, cafe and bar, showers, meeting rooms and a roof terrace.

Great transport links to Canary Wharf, including the Jubilee line, Elizabeth line and DLR.

Key Responsibilities:

Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)

Emergency lighting tests

Control Panels

Changing Ballast

BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)

Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance

Maintain and update Log books

Plumbing - Unblocking toilets

Pumps, motors

Compliance and logbooks

Chillers and pressurisation units

Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.

Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.

Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.

Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.

Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.

Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.

Requirements:
Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2365/2391, 18th Edition).

Proven experience working in a critical environment (e.g. data centre, financial, hospital, or similar).

Strong knowledge of PPM & reactive maintenance.

Ability to work on a continental shift rota (days & nights).

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under pressure.
