Bush Pilot

Blue Stone Guiding and Adventures Ltd is looking to fill the position of one (1) Commercial Air Pilot/Bush Pilot for our float planes type DHC-2 DeHavilland Beaver and PA-18 150 Piper Supercub.

We specialize in guided hunts for different wild game species in remote wilderness regions, as well as in fishing and adventure tours.

Our home base is located in Dease Lake, BC — near the Yukon border.

• Flying air passengers to destination and assisting in loading and unloading.
• Completing pre- and post flight inspections including in‑flight tests and monitoring of functionality of aircraft systems.
• Executing re‑fuelling, limited troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Preparing flight evaluation reports and maintaining flight records.
• Maintaining communication with flight dispatcher, considering weather forecasts and responding and reporting in‑flight emergencies and malfunctions.

• Completion of secondary school and graduation from a certified aviation school with a minimum experience of 2 years, including training for difficult terrains.
• A College Diploma will be considered as a bonus.
• Required is the possession of a recognized Commercial Air Pilot Licence with more than 750 h of flight experience (PIC) or Air Transport License with more than 1500 h of flight experience (PIC), as well as the endorsement to fly our aircraft types, including float endorsement. We may require industry standard medical testing.
• CDN Commercial Pilot Licence.
• CDN CAT 1 Medical.
• CDN Seaplane Rating.
• Endorsement on DHC2F or PA18F.

• Must hold Transport Canada Licence, Medical.
• Must have legal right to live/work in Canada.
• No Foreign Pilot Visas or Sponsor ships.

The pay will be $59.00/h. The language at work is English.

Accommodation will be provided either at the Wilderness Camp or at the home base in Dease Lake, BC.

This is a full‑time, seasonal job, starting on June 15th 2026 and ending October 30th 2026.
