Dock Worker; Forklift Operator

Integrated Staffing is hiring an Dock Worker/ Forklift Operator on behalf of our client, a leading organization in Somerville, NB. This Part-Time role offers stability, competitive pay, and the chance to contribute to a fast-paced and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently

Load and unload trailers, containers, and delivery trucks

Move, stack, and organize pallets and freight within the warehouse/dock area

Inspect freight for damage, proper labeling, and accuracy of orders

Use RF scanners or paperwork to track, verify, and document shipments

Secure loads to prevent shifting, damage, or safety hazards

Maintain a clean and organized dock and warehouse space

Follow all company policies, safety rules, and standard operating procedures

Assist with general warehouse duties as required (picking, packing, wrapping, etc.)

Communicate effectively with team members, drivers, and supervisors

Qualifications

Valid forklift certification

Previous experience in warehouse, dock, or material handling roles an asset

Ability to safely load/unload trailers, containers, and pallets

Strong knowledge of workplace safety standards and procedures (WHMIS, PPE, etc.)

Physically fit; able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods

Comfortable working in varying temperatures (cold storage, outdoor docks, etc.)

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order handling

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Compensation & Details

Hours:

20-30 hours per week

Schedule:

Monday – Friday; 3:00 – 10:00 (3:00am – 10:00am)

Pay Rate: $20/hr
