Position: Class One Driver / Winch Truck Driver / Heavy Haul Driver
Location: East Kootenays (Fernie)

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Truck Driver to join our team in our fleet of five Tri Drive Winch Trucks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods, Crane Counterweights and Heavy Equipment safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, effective communication skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks.
Responsibilities
Operate and drive Tri Drive Winch Trucks to transport goods to various locations.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport.
Assist in Mobile Crane Rigging and Signaling as needed.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
Requirements
Valid commercial driver's license (Class One) is required.
Experience in commercial driving is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required.
Experience operating equipment is a plus.
Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
