Location: Boyle

Purpose :
Repair, Overhaul, Maintenance, Service of Heavy Equipment.

Key Responsibilities :

Interpret work orders and technical manuals.

Keep equipment cleaned, lubricated and maintained.

Diagnose faults or malfunctions.

Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems.

Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure that the work done meets.
manufacturers' specifications and legislated regulations.

Write service reports.

Skills/Abilities :

Strength and stamina required to work with heavy equipment and work in
cramped or awkward positions.

Good vision, hearing and sense of smell for diagnosing problems.

Mechanical ability and an interest in machinery and engines.

The ability to think logically and keep up with changes in technology.

Ability to work alone or as a team.

Experience :
Minimum four years’ experience required.

Tickets :
Must have a Journeyman red seal certificate as Heavy Duty Mechanic.

Other :
Valid driver's licence, willing to travel, remote locations.
