Our company has been in business for over 30 years and is a company with over 60 employees. We specialize in refrigeration, sheet metal, and electrical services in Halifax and all surrounding areas.

We are looking for a Refrigeration Service Technician who is a hard working individual and looking to grow within the company. This position plays an important role in providing service to our customers heat pump equipment.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Primarily performs diagnostics and repairs on heat pump equipment
  • On occasion, may perform maintenance on heat pump equipment
  • Communicates with customers and administrative staff on a day-to-day basis
  • Anchor and hook-up HVAC machinery, when needed
  • Follow safety protocol and comply with safety and occupational standards
  • Completes the scope of their job in a timely manner

    • Qualifications:

  • Journeyman Refrigeration license an asset
  • Minimum 3rd year apprentice or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Safety certifications an asset (First Aid, Fall Arrest, WHMIS, etc)
  • Eager to grow within the company
  • Available for on-call rotation for emergency service
  • Able to handle medium to heavy equipment (a minimum of 50 lbs)
  • The nature of this role may be physically demanding and require manual dexterity, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
