Truck and Transport Technician – Irving Woodlands

Job DescriptionNorthern NB Woodlands is seeking to fill the position of Truck and Transport Technician, with a reliable and motivated individual who demonstrates a positive attitude towards teamwork.

- Perform heavy equipment maintenance activities, including installation, repair, troubleshooting, diagnostics and preventive maintenance.
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance of equipment.
- Disassemble and reassemble engines and mechanical units to inspect and diagnose parts using computerized test equipment, calibration devices, gauges, etc.
- Repair and overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Follow all established safety policies and standards, including proper identification, use and procedures for handling or disposing of hazardous waste.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Red Seal Certification as a Truck and Transport Technician (minimum Block 3).
- Must be able to work in a flexible, fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
- Must be autonomous and detail‑oriented.
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
