We are seeking a Welder
—
from 3rd Year Apprentice up to Journeyperson
—to join our team. In this role, you’ll support repairs and fabrications across a wide range of equipment and work hands-on with industry-leading machines alongside a team that knows quality matters.

Base Wage - Journeyperson: $52.31. Additional premiums apply.
Base Wage - 3rd Year Apprentice
: $36.62 - $39.23. Additional premiums apply.
Location: Elkford, BC. Housing is available.
Shift Rotation: 7x7

What You’ll Do

Performing repairs and fabrications on various makes and models of equipment.

Working from layouts, blueprints, and work orders.

Customizing mobile equipment or components based on customer needs.

Supporting failure analysis and welding repair strategies alongside the Service Manager.

Delivering safe, effective welding services in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be a 3rd Year Apprentice up to a Journeyperson Welder. Additional requirements include:

Highly motivated and able to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision

Ability to interpret blueprints and layouts/follow work orders

Must possess a strong work ethic, a commitment to excellence and have acute safety awareness as well as strong organizational skills

Must have effective interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacy while working with a variety of individuals and groups

Must have a thorough knowledge of the maintenance and repair of mining equipment

Valid Class 5/G drivers license

This position is required to regularly work at our customers’ location. Below are the current requirements from our customers that all candidates need to be able to complete to gain access to their worksite:
