We're looking for a Lead Carpenter who not only has technical mastery but also a deep sense of ownership, pride, and purpose in their work. The ideal candidate brings both hands-on skills and leadership strength to elevate every project and person they work with.

What You'll Do

• Lead and perform high-quality carpentry work - from framing and millwork to fine finishing - ensuring every detail meets Oaken's craftsmanship standards.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications with accuracy and foresight.
• Plan ahead: identify challenges early, coordinate with the project manager, and keep timelines and budgets on track.
• Mentor apprentices and junior carpenters, modeling professionalism, efficiency, and pride in the craft.
• Enforce safety, quality control, and jobsite organization at all times.
• Represent Oaken Builders with professionalism and humility - with the mindset that every home reflects our name and your workmanship.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of residential carpentry experience, with lead or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Proven skill in custom home building, renovations, and finishing carpentry.
• Strong ability to plan, problem-solve, and manage priorities in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.
• A leadership style rooted in accountability, mentorship, and teamwork.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• A genuine commitment to bringing your God-given talents to your craft - and using them to build something meaningful.
