Rapid Response Guards – Victoria, BC

Guardteck is seeking highly capable and professional Rapid Response Guards to join our team in Victoria, BC. This is a casual position with the potential to transition into full-time based on performance and site needs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant security experience
  • Valid BC Basic Security Training (BST)
  • Must be residing in Victoria, BC
  • Loss Prevention experience is an asset
  • Valid OFA Level 2
  • Advanced Security / Use of Force Training (BST, AST, MOAB)
  • Demonstrated experience using Use of Force when required
  • Ability to manage and engage with vagrants and intoxicated individuals
  • Strong verbal skills with proven conflict de-escalation ability
  • Proficiency in English (verbal & written)
  • Ability to produce high-quality, detailed reports
  • Strong customer service background is a significant asset
  • Professional, disciplined, honest, and ethical conduct
  • Capable of standing and patrolling for extended periods
  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a diverse team
  • Excellent observation, communication, interpersonal skills
  • Strong presence, situational awareness, and attention to detail

    Schedule:

     10:00 – 18:00
  • Wage Range: $22 – $25 per hour
  • Certifications: BST, AST, MOAB, OFA 2
