The Product Specialist is the field pro who makes all the difference. They are at the center of demonstrations, start-up, and optimization of equipment (including tractors) and Precision Ag solutions. They are the one who turns technology into real value for the customer.

Their mission? Deliver memorable demonstrations, streamline commissioning, and ensure a flawless customer experience - with an approach 100% focused on value, ROI, and performance.

This key role has a direct impact on commercial success and customer satisfaction. It’s the ideal job for someone who loves technology, being in the field, and seeing concrete results from their work.

REGION:  St-Bruno, St-Gervais, St-Georges, Sherbrooke, Coaticook (  Travel: approximately 75%, peak season from April to December)

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Field demonstrations & sales support (primary mission)

Plan, organize, and execute demonstrations across the territory (logistics, preparation, coordination with sales teams and customers).

Deliver demonstrations using a “value / ROI / performance” approach, both technical and decision-oriented.

Document results, findings, and recommendations; produce demonstration reports; ensure post-demo follow-up with sales teams; and present demonstration reports to customers.

Startup, setup, and optimization of sold equipment

Ensure startup and optimization of equipment (including tractors): configuration, adjustments, setup, and best operating practices.

Perform required calibrations/settings to maximize performance and operational quality.

Implement checklists and standards (SOPs) to stabilize execution quality and reduce variability.

Training & knowledge transfer

Train customers (operators, supervisors) on optimal use of equipment and Precision Ag solutions.

Train internal teams as needed to align messaging, standards, and the customer experience.

Lead presentations to groups (customers, events, internal teams).

Information management & governance

Document all activities and requests using internal tools.

Maintain rigorous traceability of demos, follow-ups, and deliverables.

Contribute to continuous improvement (standardization, documentation, structured field feedback).

Technical support

Provide technical support on machinery and agricultural equipment (features, technology, agronomy) to sales representatives and customers.

Other

Perform any other related tasks as requested by the manager.

QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED EXPERIENCE):

Experience:

2 to 5 years (technology or sales) with an understanding of the agricultural sector.

Skills:

agronomy (intermediate to strong), IT/networking (intermediate to strong), data (intermediate to strong).

Education:

College diploma or DEP in sales (or equivalent relevant qualification).

Languages:

French and English.

Available to work a flexible schedule and travel to branches and customer sites.

Excellent planning, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Analytical mindset and ability to identify the needs of new or prospective customers.

Qualities: dynamic, professional, autonomous, self-motivated, results-driven, and able to present to groups.
