What you’ll do:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following (and other duties as required):

  • Providing customers with excellent, efficient, courteous service
  • Provide a neat, clean, fresh and well‑merchandised department
  • All duties associated with inventory stocking and taking inventory counts
  • Compliance with government standards and regulations that apply to the Killam store
  • Complete up‑to‑date in‑house training and certifications via e‑learning courses
  • Alert for the unauthorized removal of merchandise and equipment
  • Ensure the quality and condition of all merchandise meets the store’s standards
  • Follow all cleaning and maintenance schedules
  • Compliance with all safety policies and procedures and look out for the safety of others
  • Adhere to all Wild Rose Co‑op policies and procedures

This position requires the use of computers, as well as heavy lifting of products.

Who you are:

You have previous experience in customer service is an asset. Candidates will demonstrate the following:

  • Committed to providing excellent customer service to our member‑owners as well as internal customers
  • Quality communication skills
  • Ability to work days, evenings and weekends

This position will report to the Deli Manager.

This is a part‑time position based on 24‑32 hrs/week, the successful candidate will have the ability to work days, evenings, and weekends.
