Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of full-time Bakery Clerk at our Food Store location in Nipawin, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Bakery Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
• Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
• Package and label baked goods, maintain product displays ensure shelves are fully stocked.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in bakery area.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Rotate stock, check product freshness, and remove outdated items.
• Operate bakery equipment (scales, slicers, ovens)
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.
• Answer customer questions about products and ingredients.
• Take cake orders and cake writing as required.
• Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service:
• You have previous bakery, food service, or customer service experience (willing to train).
• You have knowledge of food handling and safety practices (or willingness to learn)
• You are honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented, and are proud of the work that you do.
• You have strong communication and customer-service skills.
• You are well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision.
• You have the ability to fulfill physical job requirements, heavy lifting, repetitive movements, standing entire shift.
• You have a flexible work schedule; weekend and evening work is required.
