Work Location: Prescott, Ontario
Work Schedule:
12-hour continental shifts (days).
Training schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM. After training, the position transitions to the continental shift schedule.

Position Summary
The QA Tester supports the Quality Assurance team by ensuring products meet company and industry standards through inspections, audits, and testing. This role involves performing line audits, calibrations, CTR reviews, investigating quality incidents, and making product acceptance decisions. The QA Tester will also coach operators on quality practices, manage product release, inspect incoming materials, and perform both destructive and non-destructive lab testing, including cable testing on one of the six tester positions when required.
Salary: $24.50/hour
Responsibilities:
Conduct line audits, calibrations, CTR reviews, and control plan checks.
Investigate quality incidents and support corrective actions.
Make informed decisions on product acceptance and manage product release.
Perform incoming material inspections and ensure compliance with specifications.
Carry out multiple lab tests, including destructive and non-destructive testing.
Perform cable testing in designated tester positions as needed.
Coach and support operators in maintaining quality standards.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and test results.
Knowledge and skill requirements
:
Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies and defects.
Physically fit and able to perform demanding tasks (standing for long periods, lifting, bending, cutting, pushing, and pulling).
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Previous experience in quality assurance, testing, or manufacturing is an asset.
