Lawn Care Technician

Type of Position:Full-time year-round employment

Schedule:

Start time is 6:30 am Monday to Friday for a 10 hour shift

Saturdays available through busy season

Flexible to work longer hours during peak season

FULL TIME Year Round - Christmas light installation position from October to February (lawn care mid-March to October)

Minimum Hourly Salary:$20/hr guaranteed base for entry-level with the potential to reach up to $29+/hr with incentives and bonuses. $46971 to $57341 annually in their first year. Experienced members earn $65000+ with 3 to 5 weeks off a year!

JOIN US! Lawn Savers is currently hiring more Lawn Care & Pest Control Technicians to join our team. This position is open to both experienced individuals and those new to the industry WITHOUT any specific trade experience- WE WILL TRAIN YOU. As a member of our lawn care team, you will be responsible for independently servicing our customers' homes on routes in the GTA.

Requirements of the Lawn Care & Pest Control Technician:

• Valid G driver’s license is required
• Minimum 6 to 9 months of previous
  experience working outdoors
  is preferred
• Previous experience in the customer service industry is preferred
• Computer-literate and comfortable with technology
• G license required and a clean drivers abstract

Responsibilities of the Lawn Care & Pest Control Technician:

• Provides lawn care services to residential and some commercial customers
• Educating homeowners of the value in preserving, maintaining and growing local green space.
• Utilizing technology and products to strengthen urban and rural landscapes on a daily basis through your direct input in local tree and turfgrass preservation environments
• Drives company truck safely to customer locations
• Assess conditions and input observations into our property evaluation app.
• Apply fertilizers, seed mixtures, compost, soil enrichment, weed and insect management products in accordance with I.P.M. standards, safety procedures & label instructions
• WOW
  customers with 'over and above' customer service!
• Report to work on time as assigned and complete all tasks with honesty and integrity following company values

Qualifications for the Lawn Care Technician:

• Able to repeatedly lift and carry 50 lbs
• Ability to work independently and responsibly as part of a team
• Pesticide Exterminator Licence an asset
