Greenskeeper

The Fox Golf Club is seeking an outgoing and hardworking individual to join our turf team as a Full-Time Seasonal Greenskeeper in Granton, Ontario.

Role Summary

Greenskeepers are the primary caretakers of the golf course, performing a wide variety of tasks ranging from manual maintenance and construction to the operation of light equipment. You will be responsible for general course maintenance while working outdoors in a beautiful natural environment with a dedicated team.

Hours:

Approximately 40 hours per week. Shifts begin at 5:30 AM and include four weekdays and one weekend shift (5:30 AM – 10:00 AM).

Salary: $17.75 – $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual labor, including raking sand traps, digging, weeding, and changing pins.
• Operate equipment to mow tees, greens, fairways, and roughs.
• Work proficiently under the direction of supervisors to complete tasks within given timeframes.
• Maintain a safe work environment and properly care for all machinery, tools, and equipment.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor and heavy lifting.
• Willingness to work in all weather and environmental conditions.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Reliable attendance for very early morning shifts.
• A positive attitude and the ability to perform a variety of tasks.
