Are you a seasoned Industrial Painter looking for a challenging and rewarding role in Industrial Manufacturing? Our client, a prominent employer in the Manufacturing & Logistics industry in Thamesville, Ontario, is looking for a skilled professional to take ownership of their coating and finishing processes. This role is crucial to maintaining the quality and durability of their manufactured products. As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for ensuring that all components meet stringent quality standards through meticulous surface preparation, including blasting, and the precise application of industrial coatings.
This is a chance to leverage your expertise in industrial or automotive painting, coating, and finishing within a supportive and growing organization. We are offering a competitive wage ranging from $25 to $35 per hour, commensurate with your experience and skill level as an Industrial Painter.

Responsibilities
Execute complete Industrial Painting processes, including surface preparation, priming, and top coating of various industrial components.
Perform blasting and other surface preparation techniques to ensure proper profile, optimal cleanliness, and absolute coating readiness.
Operate and maintain a variety of coating application equipment, such as conventional and airless spray systems, safely and efficiently.
Mix, thin, and blend industrial paints and coatings to match specific formulas and ensure consistent viscosity and color.
Conduct quality checks on finished products for runs, sags, dry spray, and correct film thickness, ensuring adherence to quality control standards.
Adhere strictly to all company and regulatory safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), particularly in the blasting and spraying areas.
Qualifications
Expertise in surface preparation methods, including abrasive blasting (e.g., sandblasting), solvent cleaning, and profile measurement.
Strong mechanical aptitude for the troubleshooting and routine maintenance of paint application and surface preparation equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, paint specifications, and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
Exceptional attention to detail to achieve high-quality finishes and minimize waste in the Industrial Manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in color matching and viscosity testing for optimal coating performance.
Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a Manufacturing & Logistics setting.
