Responsibilities

We are seeking a Loadout Operator who is skilled in industrial operations and demonstrates leadership potential, a willingness to learn, a strong commitment to work safely, and to Yara’s core values. This role is ideal for someone who is goal-oriented and is motivated to grow into a leadership position. The Loadout Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of load-out equipment to handle Ammonia, UAN/DEF, and Urea products.

Loading Operations

Bulk solids & liquid loading

Operate solid and liquid loading systems;

Operate dedusting and self-loading systems

Conduct basic process operations – (pumps, control valves, piping, weigh systems)

Operate equipment through distributed control system operation (DCS)

Rail and Equipment Handling

Railyard operations

Power mobile equipment

Safety & Maintenance

Apply Yara’s industrial safety procedures and work practices

Prepare Urea, Ammonia, and UAN/DEF systems for maintenance activities

Troubleshoot load-out equipment to optimize maintenance processes and equipment performance

Education, Experience & Skill

Grade 12 diploma (minimum requirement), post-secondary education an asset

Demonstrated leadership potential with the ability to grow into a supervisory role and inspire others

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively

Willingness to learn:

Strong knowledge of safety programs and emergency response procedures an asset

Mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills are an asset

Experience with basic process operation, (pumps, piping control valves, controller operations, weigh systems) is an asset.

Previous Industrial site experience is a strong asset
