Production Supervisor - Client in Manufacturing industry

Location: Hochelaga

Our client, a leading company in the manufacturing and distribution sector, located in the Estrie region, is currently seeking a  Production Supervisor  to join their team on-site for a full-time, permanent position.

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor will primarily be responsible for managing and monitoring the manufacturing process. Skilled in personnel management, the supervisor influences team practices through effective strategies to motivate, develop, and encourage team members. Additionally, they analyze performance trends and implement action plans to ensure objectives are met.

On a daily basis, you will:

Foster a participative management style within a people-focused company culture;

Support your team in achieving occupational health and safety, quality, and production performance goals;

Monitor performance indicators, report any deviations to your manager, and propose solutions;

Allocate and assign tasks to employees with the support of your team lead;

Oversee the onboarding of new employees on your shift and closely monitor their development;

Evaluate employee performance and take supportive or disciplinary measures when performance and/or behavior deviations occur;

Verify employees’ weekly payroll hours;

Ensure effective communication of relevant information to supervisors of other shifts;

Uphold and embody the company’s mission, vision, and values.

Conditions:

Work schedule may be day or evening (to be determined);

Supervisors may be required to cover for colleagues on other shifts.
