General Production employees
are the backbone of our mills. They make sure weproduce products safely and efficiently, creating the materials that build homes and dreams.
No experience? No problem! We can start you in an entry level role where we provide all the training you need to succeed. We’re looking for a General Production Employee to join our innovative lumber mill located near Vernon, British Columbia
. Our Lavington Division is where Tolko’s story began over years ago. Today, at Lavington, we safely and sustainably produce million board feet of lumber per year for customers around the world so they can build their homes and their communities.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

Demonstrated commitment to working safely.

Strong communication & interpersonal skills
.

Ability to work 8-hour shifts, including evenings and graveyards.

Ability to work independently with little supervision.

Previous
experience working in an industrial environment
is an asset.

Previous experience
operating a forklift or loader
is an asset.

Work independently

Perform a variety of labour duties
to increase productivity and reduce safety risks.

Work with your Team Lead and Maintenance teams to make sure everything stays on track.

rotating 8-hour shift schedule
, which gives you flexibility to spend extra time with your family on days off.
