District Sales Manager – Commercial Insurance
Location - Calgary
Our client, a well-established and respected insurance organization, is seeking a District Sales Manager to join their leadership team. This role is ideal for a motivated insurance professional who enjoys building high-performing teams, driving strategic growth, and mentoring others to succeed.
As a District Sales Manager, you will play a key leadership role in supporting regional growth while developing and coaching a team of Commercial Insurance Specialists. You will leverage your industry expertise to strengthen client relationships, grow key accounts, and create an environment where your team can thrive and perform at a high level.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will contribute to the region’s strategic direction, including market growth initiatives, budgeting, and recruitment planning.
What You’ll Be Doing- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Commercial Insurance Specialists
- Drive strategic initiatives to grow market share within the region
- Maintain and expand key commercial client relationships
- Collaborate with senior leadership on regional strategic planning and budgeting
- Support recruitment and development of top talent within the team
- Foster a positive, high-performance, team-focused culture
- Post-secondary education (College or University preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the insurance industry
- Proven leadership or team development experience
- Strong strategic thinking and business development skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coaching abilities
- A competitive mindset with a strong drive for results
