Full job description
SaaS Business | Full-Time | Red Deer, Alberta
Visual-Eyes is a Canadian SaaS company serving the eye care industry. For 30 years, we have helped independent clinics streamline their operations so they can focus on patient care, growth, and long-term success.
We are a people-first, execution-focused organization with a strong leadership team and clear functional ownership. We are looking for an Integrator / Operations Leader to ensure priorities are aligned, leaders are supported, and the business operates smoothly and predictably.
This role reports directly to the Owner and works across all departments to turn direction into coordinated action.
About the Role
The Integrator is the operational hub of the business.
You will partner with department leads across Development, Quality Assurance, Sales & Implementation, Product Support, and Administration to ensure priorities are clear, progress is visible, and obstacles are addressed early.
You do not need experience in healthcare or software development. You do need to be comfortable working with both technical and customer-facing teams, supporting leaders, and operating in a fast-moving SaaS environment.
We use clear planning rhythms and delivery frameworks to support focus and accountability. Familiarity with systems such as EOS, Agile, or Scrum is helpful, but sound leadership judgment and practical execution experience matter more than formal certifications.
You will also support the thoughtful adoption of AI tools where they add real value, helping teams understand what AI is useful for, where it should be applied carefully, and how it can improve efficiency without creating unnecessary risk.
What Success Looks Like
Within the first year:
Leadership team meetings are focused, effective, and action-oriented
Company priorities are clearly communicated and consistently executed
Department leads feel supported, aligned, and accountable
Cross-team collaboration is strong and well coordinated
Teams consistently meet their Rocks and KPIs
Operational issues are identified early and resolved decisively
The customer experience feels cohesive from onboarding through ongoing support
Key Responsibilities
Act as the operational integrator between the Owner and department leaders
Support leaders in planning, prioritization, and execution of initiatives
Keep company-wide priorities aligned and on track
Identify and remove operational bottlenecks
Improve clarity around roles, responsibilities, and handoffs
Partner on onboarding, performance support, and team development
Maintain a strong focus on the end-to-end customer experience
Contribute to planning and resource allocation decisions
Experience & Qualifications
We are focused on leadership capability and judgement, not narrow credentials.
5+ years in an operations, delivery, or leadership role
Experience in a SaaS or technology-enabled organization is an asset
Proven ability to work across teams with competing priorities
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Clear, calm, and direct communication style
Comfortable holding people accountable while maintaining trust
Practical familiarity with AI tools and their appropriate use
Formal project management certification is an asset but not required.
Who This Role Is For
You will likely thrive in this role if you:
Enjoy bringing order to complexity
Prefer enabling others over being the hero
Are decisive, pragmatic, and solution-focused
Care about both people and outcomes
Are comfortable operating between strategy and execution
What We Offer
A senior leadership role with meaningful influence
Full health and dental benefits
Group RRSP with employer matching
