Position: Senior Project Manager to assist with a Portfolio of HR-related digital transformation projects (Req 2870)

Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to assist with a Portfolio of HR-related digital transformation projects

Calgary-based office. Candidates can be % remote in Canada

Must haves:

10+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a focus on large-scale Human Resource Projects or enterprise transformation programs

Experience in HR operations (operating model design, automation, and process simplification.)

Experience working with enterprise systems such as SAP, Workday, or Service Now

Experience in portfolio governance, risk management
, and cross-functional coordination within a corporate PMO or shared services environment

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, IT, or a related discipline

Responsibilities:

Lead the delivery of complex HR and business transformation projects that include HR technology enablement (e.g., Workday, SAP Success Factors), process redesign, and change management.

Partner with HR, Finance, IT, and PMO leaders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics aligned to organizational strategy.

Establish and maintain effective project governance structures and stakeholder engagement plans to ensure visibility, accountability, and alignment.

Build trusted relationships with executive sponsors and senior HR leaders, demonstrating the presence and credibility required to manage challenging or conflicting priorities.

Drive structured planning and execution using the most appropriate methodology (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) based on project type, complexity, and outcomes.

Oversee project budgets, resourcing, and timelines to ensure efficient use of financial and human capital.

Identify dependencies and risks across workstreams, ensuring mitigation strategies are in place and proactively communicated.

Collaborate with Organizational Change Management (OCM) and Communications teams to drive adoption, readiness, and successful transition to new ways of working.
