Do you love all things golf? Ever wanted to work and play on Canada’s highest-elevation golf course? We are looking to recruit Golf Valet Services for the upcoming summer. You will have a guest-focused mindset, be team oriented, self-motivated, and energetic, with experience in the golf industry. The ideal applicant is happy to work indoors and outdoors in a mountain environment in varying weather conditions.

Compensation Information: $19.00 per hour

Physical Requirement: Medium;
Indoor & Outdoor

Walking, standing, bending, crouching and twisting for periods of time.

Ability to work in various conditions, including inside the shop, underground in the garage space, and outside.

Exposure to heat, rain, smoke, and noise.

Lifting – Exerting 20+ kg of strength occasionally, and/or 10 kg of strength frequently or constantly to move objects.

This job position requires physical presence at the designated location.

Skills you bring with you:

Previous experience in golf industry, guest service, or retail.

Energetic, outgoing, and patient with guest-focused mindset.

Strategic decision-making and organizational skills.

Team oriented, demonstrating professional communication and respectful collaboration.

Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a team.

Valid Driver’s License.

Primary Responsibilities:

Understand, follow, and enforce golf policies and procedures to ensure smooth, consistent, and efficient operations.

Greet and welcoming guests upon arrival, providing friendly assistance with equipment and clear guidance on where to go.

Welcome guests upon return from their round; assist with removing equipment, ensure power carts are empty, clean, and free of damage.

Support the outside services team with staging, cleaning, and charging power carts.

Maintain accurate records by monitoring, documenting, and reporting any damage, incidents, or concerns immediately.

Ensure all outdoor service areas are clean, safe, and presentable at all times.

Wash guest clubs upon request.

Develop and maintain positive relationships with members, guests, staff, and the grounds crew.

Operate according to the code of conduct, mission, and values of Sun Peaks Resort LLP and Golf Operations.

Health and Safety; immediate action required when concerns arise. Report to Manager.
