Description of Opportunity

REQUEST FOR SERVICES

Psychologists, Psychological Associates, Registered Psychotherapists and Occupational Therapists Third-Party Contractors Requested to Support WSIB’s Clinical Expert Line

The WSIB Clinical Expert Line offers peer-to-peer support to community health care providers that are delivering care to people with work-related musculoskeletal and/or mild traumatic brain injuries through WSIB’s Programs of Care.

We are expanding the Clinical Expert Line to support health care providers that deliver care to people with mental stress injuries, under our new Mental Health Program of Care. Community health care providers may call the WSIB’s Mental Health Clinical Expert Line for collaborative, peer-to-peer support and clinical discussions focused on care options, recommendations and strategies to strengthen recovery and return-to-work outcomes.

Qualifications

Mental Health Clinical Experts must be Psychologists, Psychological Associates, Registered Psychotherapists or Occupational Therapists in good standing with their respective college, with proven experience treating mental stress injuries.

Please note this is a third-party contracted opportunity and Clinical Experts will not be considered employees of the WSIB.

Availability and scheduling

  • The Clinical Expert Line is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST, Monday to Friday.
  • Successful contractors who will be performing the services must commit to a minimum of 16 hours and up to 24 hours maximum per week in a combination of eight-hour and/or four-hour shifts.
