Position: Substitute Teachers - Various Locations
Location: North Central Alberta (Slave Lake)

Pembina Hills School Division (PHSD) is now accepting applications for Substitute Teachers to join its substitute teacher pool and work at various school locations throughout the division. Applicants are asked to indicate their preferred location(s) in their cover letter.
Substitute Teachers provide classroom instruction and supervision in the absence of the regular classroom teacher, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining a positive and productive learning environment. Successful candidates must be flexible, dependable, and willing to work collaboratively as part of a school-based team.

Pembina Hills School Division (PHSD) provides education to approximately 3500 students in . PHSD also provides education to 1,300+ full-time and 5,300+ part-time school-aged students and adult students and nearly 4,600 students in the summer from within and beyond our borders, through our online school,  .

Qualifications
Must hold a valid Alberta teaching certificate
Proficiency in the use of educational technology
Facilitate an inclusive environment for all students
Successful classroom teaching experience
Ability to work as part of a team
