Donor Relations Officer
Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum – Outram
We are looking for a Donor Relations Officer to provide excellent front‑line customer service and administrative support in donor relations. This role involves attending to walk‑in visitors and donor inquiries, managing donation processes, and handling cashiering duties. The ideal candidate should be bilingual, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a temple environment. Customer Service & Donor Support
Provide front‑desk assistance to walk‑in visitors and donors.
Manage and respond to phone and email inquiries professionally and promptly.
Oversee donation processes, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
Perform cashiering duties, handling cash, cheques, NETS, and credit card transactions.
Maintain accurate donor records and generate reports as needed.
Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and record‑keeping.
Track and manage inventory of adoption items, ensuring proper documentation.
Prepare daily settlement reports for submission to the finance department.
Audit cash register float, NETS cards, and other financial items in the front office.
What we're looking for
Minimum qualification of 'N' Level or 'O' Level and above.
No prior experience required; training will be provided.
Candidates with relevant experience will be considered for the Executive role.
Proficient in computer skills and administrative tasks.
Bilingual to communicate with donors.
Knowledge on Han Yu Pin Yin is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Willing to work on weekends, Chinese New Year, Vesak Day, and public holidays.
Comfortable working in Chinatown and within a temple setting.
