THE ROLE Imagine spending all summer hanging out with a great group of kids, playing at the splash park, going on road trips to fun and exciting places, getting creative with arts and crafts - and - getting paid for it!

We are looking for Summer Camp Leaders for children aged kindergarten through 12 years old. Each week will be a new experience with a host of activities including both indoor play and recreation and outside activities. You will get experience in designing recreational programs, teaching and leading individuals and groups while ensuring a healthy and safe environment. Above all, your goal is to help the children have fun, and have fun yourself.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses
High school diploma and some experience in a related field
Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications
HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development or HIGH FIVE Sport
HIGH FIVE Healthy Minds for Healthy Children
Experience
In working with children
In programming activities for children
In leading children in activities
In ensuring safety protocols and procedures
Competencies,
Skills and Abilities
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS English Essential, Bilingual an asset

OTHER INFORMATION Perform moderate lifting, carrying, pulling and/or pushing (i.e. more than 10 lbs/4.5 kg but less than 50 lbs/23 kg)
This is an on-site position with an assigned work location.
As part of the selection process, the successful candidate must successfully complete a Reliability status security screening and Vulnerable Sector Check.
START DATE June 22, 2026.
The anticipated term of this position is until 28 August 2026.
