IG Victoria has a number of exceptional opportunities for a qualified Associate, Financial Advisor to join tenured financial advisor practices in Greater Victoria,

B.C. We have a number of well-established IG practices that are currently seeking Associate Advisor candidates. Every Victoria IG practice delivers solution-based planning while each specializes in a high net‑worth target market (professionals, business owners, high‑net‑worth pre‑retirees, and retirees). Based on the candidate’s current practice profile, they will be introduced to IG practices that match their existing practice target market and demographic.

The successful candidate will be well‑versed in financial planning software and competent in managing and onboarding new clients.

• Managing clients to develop high‑net‑worth introductions
• Servicing clients and managing their expectations
• Gathering client data to prepare financial plans and offer tailored solutions
• Assisting the team in reviewing client information and formulating recommendations
• Building client relationships as part of the team and independently

• CFP designation or equivalent, or actively working toward completion
• Mutual fund or securities licensed
• Life insurance license or actively working toward completion
• Minimum 5+ years of industry experience, managing an existing client base
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience in Conquest or other Financial Planning Software applications
• Professional phone and face‑to‑face communication

• Strong ability to connect with and manage client relationships
• Self‑confident, coachable, and high integrity
• Proven record of positive client outcomes, introductions, and new business
• Desire to learn, be mentored, and mentor others
