Position: Intensive Care Registered Nurse
Location: Intensive Care Unit, Taylor Regional Hospital, Kentucky
Schedule: Full-time, Nights
Night Shift Differential: 20%
What You’ll Do- Ensure optimal patient care.
- Communicate and educate patients about their process and discharge at a level they understand.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Support a constructive work environment and recognize emergent situations.
- Follow HIPAA compliance.
- Demonstrate competence in nursing skills and be personally responsible and reliable.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
- Administer medications and therapies in accordance with the RN Nurse Practice Act and Taylor Regional Hospital policies.
- Proficiently recognize cardiac rhythms and understand advanced airway support and ventilation assistance.
- Be competent with advanced monitoring equipment.
- Associate degree required.
- Valid Kentucky RN license.
- At least 1–2+ years experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Maintain accurate and concise documentation.
- Frequent bending, standing, and walking.
- Lift over 50 lbs.
