Position:
Respiratory Therapist
Location:
On‑site at Taylor Regional Hospital, Kentucky.
Schedule:
Full‑time nights and part‑time day positions, or PRN available—various shifts.
- Set up various oxygen devices.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Perform chest physical therapy.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other team members.
- Follow HIPAA compliance.
- Document procedures and oxygen usage to capture charges accurately.
- Proficient in analyzing and obtaining arterial blood.
- Report results and make recommendations for corrections.
- Perform QC on blood gas analyzers.
- Associate degree required.
- Valid KY Respiratory License.
- Valid NBRC license.
- No experience required.
- Must pass the Clinical Simulation exam from NBRC.
- Job demands: exceptional communication skills, remain organized and professional, maintain accurate and concise documentation, frequent walking, bending, and standing, lift over 50 lbs.

NRP certification required.
