Position:
Perioperative Care Technician

Location:

Surgical Services Department at Taylor Regional Hospital, Kentucky

Schedule:

PRN position - varied shifts

• Adheres to hospital policies and standards
• Maintains patient documentation within scope of practice
• Participates In Required Education, Competencies, And Training Requirements.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other team members.
• Follows HIPAA compliance.
• Responds to emergent situations, demonstrates strong skills, and responds appropriately.
• Adheres to patient safety and monitors patient needs frequently
• Transports patients to and from surgery, stocks inventory in assigned area, and monitors/facilitates activities (call lights, blankets, patient toileting, and privacy)

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid KY SRNA license
• 1-2+ yrs of experience preferred
• Job Demands
• Strong Attentive and Communication Skills
• Ability to work at a fast pace
• Maintain accurate and concise documentation
• Frequent walking, standing, and lifting
• Able to lift over 50lbs
