Adams & Martin Group is seeking a Litigation Secretary/Paralegal for a plaintiff personal injury practice in Campbell, CA. This is a temp-to-hire, onsite position with the possibility of transitioning to a hybrid schedule based on performance. The role supports a highly rated personal injury team and offers an opportunity to work with a collaborative group of legal professionals dedicated to helping clients.
Responsibilities- Assist attorneys and support staff with active litigation caseloads in plaintiff personal injury matters
- Prepare and serve legal pleadings, including complaints, motions, and discovery responses
- Draft and send correspondence and notices
- Draft, format, and finalize pleadings, reports, and correspondence
- Perform filing in California state courts
- Ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines
- Organize electronic and paper files
- Enter court dates and deadlines into electronic calendaring systems
- Assist with compiling case-related documentation
- Coordinate hearings, depositions, and meetings
- Maintain calendars for multiple attorneys
- Work closely with attorneys and staff to support efficient case management
- Contribute to team projects and assist with additional tasks as needed
- At least 2-3 years of litigation experience, including discovery and filing legal pleadings
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and proactive with strong initiative
- Ability to manage caseloads and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to work well with different personalities and as part of a team
- Certification not required
- Onsite schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with potential for hybrid based on performance
