Production Support Technician

Poseidon Ocean Systems designs and manufactures advanced marine and ocean‑technology solutions used in demanding environments around the world. The Production Support Technician is an entry‑level, hands‑on role that provides essential support to our production, warehouse, and shop teams. This position is ideal for someone reliable, organized, and motivated to learn, with an interest in manufacturing, mechanics, or assembly work.

You will assist with preparing parts and tools, maintaining an organized and safe work environment, and supporting machine assembly and warehouse operations as needed.

• Pick, prepare, and stage parts for production and assembly tasks.
• Organize tools, components, and materials throughout the shop.
• Assist with basic machine and equipment assembly under supervision.
• Support warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, and material handling as required.
  
  Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and yard, including general upkeep and housekeeping duties.
• Assist production and technical staff as needed to support daily operations.
• Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Comfortable performing physical tasks in a shop and yard environment.

• Entry‑level position; prior shop, warehouse, or manufacturing experience is an asset but not required.
• Interest in mechanical, manufacturing, or assembly work.
• Ability to safely lift and move materials as required.
• Valid BC Driver’s License and CSA‑approved steel‑toe safety boots are required.
• Forklift experience or certification is an asset; training will be provided if required.
