Practical Nurse Instructor Campbell River, BC at Discovery Community College – onsite/in-person opportunity in the Nanaimo/Campbell River region. The role involves delivering high-quality instruction in Theory, Lab, and/or Clinical settings and mentoring the next generation of nursing professionals. This position offers 28-35 hours per week with potential for future instructional opportunities.

• Deliver high-quality instruction in theory, lab, and clinical settings.
• Execute lesson plans that align with curriculum requirements as per PTIRU compliance.
  
  - Extensive in-house curriculum orientation and training provided.
• Provide hands-on training and supervision in clinical environments.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
• Stay current with best practices and developments in nursing education.

• Minimum 3,900 hours of nursing experience
  , inclusive of maternity, mental health, and community experience

• Current full registration with the BCCNM –
  required
  .
• Previous instructor experience is an asset.
• Experience with Office 365 and Student Information Systems (SIS) is an asset.
• Strong communication and mentorship skills.
