- On-Site Lead
to provide on-site leadership and administrative support for Refugee, Asylum, and International Operations (RAIO) within Refugee and International Operations (RIO).

The On-Site Lead at Terrestris provides on-site leadership and serves as the primary point of contact for face-to-face communication between the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and the Contractor regarding operational performance and service delivery. This position supports the Refugee, Asylum, and International Operations (RAIO) mission within Refugee and International Operations (RIO).

What does a typical day look like for the On-Site Lead?

You Will

  • Serve as the primary on-site liaison between the COR and the Contractor for all operational and performance-related matters.
  • Facilitate face-to-face communication to resolve issues, coordinate activities, and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • Monitor day-to-day operations to ensure services are delivered in accordance with established standards.
  • Coordinate across all supported locations, acting as the central point of contact despite being physically located in Camp Springs, MD.
  • Identify, escalate, and assist in resolving performance or operational concerns.
  • Support contractor management and site leadership to maintain service continuity and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with federal policies, procedures, and contractual standards.
  • Perform executive-level administrative support services.
  • Provide calendar management, correspondence preparation, document control, and meeting coordination.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to prepare reports, briefings, and tracking documents.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive and mission-critical information.
  • Support leadership and program staff in a fast-paced, high-visibility federal environment.
Qualifications

You might be the professional we’re looking for if you have:

  • Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
  • At least one of the following:
    • Three (3) years of overall project management experience obtained within the last five (5) years; or
    • Experience managing a project and/or contract valued in excess of $2 million; or
    • Supervision of approximately 25 or more employees supporting a project and/or contract.
  • Three (3) years of experience as an Executive Administrative Assistant within the last five (5) years.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a federal contracting environment.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and collateral responsibilities.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Professional judgment, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Experience supporting senior-level executives or program leadership.
