Senior Technician, Refrigeration/HVAC (USA) – Walmart

We are looking for a qualified Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to join our local retail store. If you have relevant experience, we invite you to bring your skills to our fast‑paced and welcoming environment.

$26.00/hr – $51.00/hr

As a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician at our local retail store, you will support and oversee repair within the Walmart facilities Refrigeration HVAC equipment team and assets, utilizing commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and tools to complete jobs.

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility’s Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair work orders, support stores and store associates, and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines by performing work according to practices and procedures outlined in the Walmart Refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work at heights frequently.

• 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Option 1: 10 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration. Option 2: 8 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration and AAS in A/C and Refrigeration. Universal EPA Certification.

• Completion of a 2‑year Vocational or Technical HVAC/R program, or a Mechanical license in the city and/or state where the job is located.
