This is a 15-week contract position.

Schedule

Night Shift - 3x12 Hour (19:00 - 07:00), with holidays as needed. Every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Med Surg RN to provide patient care in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in medical-surgical nursing, with the ability to manage a patient load effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical unit.
• Monitor and manage patient conditions, including telemetry and cardiac infusion therapies.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of Med Surg nursing experience.
• Current SC RN license or Compact license in hand prior to start.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience in IV starts and management of cardiac infusions preferred.
