Job Description Summary
Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse II provides individualized, goal‑directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results.

Hours:
12 - Scheduled Work Hours/Shift: 12‑hr shifts, 24–48 hrs per every 6‑week schedule, depending on the tier you choose
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing;
Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Registered Nurse licensure by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA BLS or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Healthcare Provider).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for most nursing areas within the hospital.
- Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, working indoors and outdoors, and working in confined/cramped spaces.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted; lift objects 50 lbs from floor up to 36 inches unassisted; lift from 36" to overhead 25 lbs; exert up to 50 lbs of force when necessary.
- Vision:
Maintain 20/40 corrected in one eye or both; ability to see and recognize objects at hand or distance; color discrimination; depth perception; peripheral vision. - Hearing:
Maintain hearing acuity with or without correction. - Finely manipulate fingers and hands; gross motor function.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, in a latex‑safety environment; ability to handle stress.
