Job Description Summary
Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at a competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results.

- Scheduled Work Hours/Shift: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week; 36 hours worked, paid for 48
Associate degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations- Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either:
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent), or
- American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider
- Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking
- Ability to climb stairs, work indoors/outdoors, and in elevated or confined spaces
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted (with related restrictions noted)
- Ability to perform repetitive motions and fine/gross motor activities
- Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as required
- Ability to work in a latex-safe environment
- Ability to maintain good olfactory sensory function
- Ability to be qualified physically for respirator use, initially and as required
