Job Description Summary
Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse II provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results.

Pay Rate and HoursHourly, $30,000 Sign on Bonus, 36 scheduled weekly hours, 3 twelve‑hour shifts per week (7A‑7P, every other weekend, rotating holidays).
Job Summary / PurposeUnder general supervision, the Registered Nurse II provides individualized, goal‑directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results.
Minimum Training and EducationAssociate’s Degree in Nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Required Licensure, Certifications, RegistrationsLicensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) also required for most nursing areas within the hospital.

Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, working indoors and outdoors, from elevated areas, in confined spaces, kneeling, bending, twisting, squatting, pinching, gross and fine motor activities, reaching overhead, repetitive hand/wrist/elbow/shoulder motions, lifting and carrying 50 lbs unassisted, visual, hearing, stress tolerance, rotating shifts, overtime, latex safety, tactile and olfactory senses, respirator use as required.
