Speech Pathologist
A position is available for a licensed Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certification of Clinical Competence) or a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate to serve K‑12 students in a public school setting. This role focuses primarily on Elementary School students and offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the educational development of children requiring speech and language services.
Location:
The position is based in a school approximately 30 minutes northeast of Columbia, SC, providing convenient commuting options within the region.
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade, focusing on individual needs assessment and intervention planning
- Collaborate with educators and parents to design tailored therapy programs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
- Participate in school meetings and professional development activities as required
- Support a positive learning environment that promotes communication and language development
- Current SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or active Clinical Fellowship Year status
- Experience or interest in pediatric speech‑language pathology within school‑based settings
- Ability to engage effectively with students, educators, and families
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to supporting student success through individualized therapeutic approaches
- Contract duration: 2025-26 School Year

37.5 hours per week - Setting:
Public K‑12 Elementary School
