Overview
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) — Camden, NJ. 13 Weeks, 36 Hours, Night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
Facility is seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our dynamic team at our Level 1 Trauma Center. This position requires a dedicated professional with extensive experience in high-acuity emergency settings, focusing on trauma care. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver life-saving interventions.
Responsibilities- Assess, triage, and stabilize patients in the emergency department, with a focus on trauma cases.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient responses in critical situations.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to develop and implement care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and protocols.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in emergency nursing.
- At least 3 years of ER RN experience, with at least 2 years in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required in hand at submission.
- Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse).
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) from American Heart Association.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
- Flu Shot Required.
- Must be available for night shifts.
